Restaurant Setiabudi: it was a very affordable Korean bbq store with several options of beef package. We went with the cheapest one and the beef was of good quality with truly free flow side dishes and beef. The drinks are also freeflow. However the service was a bit slow and there should be more people actually seeing the customers, they kinda just talk to each other and I had to really struggle calling them and asking for a refill.
Located in the ground floor do Setiabudi 1; frequented by many office workers in the vicinity. Simple and straightforward Korean bbq with decent quality. Service is good and food is cooked fast, so no complaints. Price is fair for a place like this too. Gamsahabnida!
This is the place to go for your first-time Korean meal experience. Free flow of fresh vegetable, high-quality meat, generous portions, and packages fit for families. The taste of the food is very different from that of Korean fast food restaurants, but you can find everything sold in a fast food chain in this particular venue. You will definitely discover a variety of spiciness and other interesting, pronounced flavors.
I ordered budae jigae, topokki, and an octopus based menu(I forgot its name). The budae jigae had a taste of spices and it's served boiling and it consisted of meats vegetables. The topokki was juicy and the octopus food was the best one, but the main parts(otocpus) was only a little, mostly it's kimchi, tasted a little spicy. We will get opening and closing side dishes and can be refilled once. They have some options of seats and one of them looks like a traditional korean house. The ambience was also warm.
The authentic korean food in Jakarta, their toppokki is the best. Not too sweet but balance salty spicy sweet. I recomend you to order sundubu jjiggae
